Le Corps de la mémoire expresses the suffering that persists through time caused by memories. The depth of her suffering pulls you into her story and into her cruel desire to have everything he has to offer, including his happiness. The images evoke tumultuous emotions at the harsh and slow deterioration of the beauty of their love. She is suffocating because of  her own foolishness.
