Vecteur is an installation that presents four silhouettes with illuminated outlines suspended in a dark space. These silhouettes illustrate a person falling, his journey broken into four positions, frozen in a sequence. A first figure runs, a second seems to stumble, a third appears suspended in the air and a last literally plunges, surrendering to the void.

Through this installation, I have tried  to capture an in-between, as the characters lose control of their bodies, waiting for a landing or possible impact. This installation, inspired by chronophotography, evokes a freeze-frame at four key moments of a falling movement. Moreover, if the fall is illustrated literally, it can also be interpreted metaphorically: the standing position indicates stability, while the loss of balance brings about a transformation. This change can be accepted or not, just as one can either dive voluntarily or struggle to find his base.
